Part of the mission of Practical Implantology is to support the disadvantaged and less fortunate by supporting the efforts of many organisations working in this field. We support and facilitate but do not duplicate effective work already being carried out.
As part of our mission, a major part of our main foundation course consists of a surgical module in Cairo, Egypt. This involves course delegates performing dental implant surgery on patients, who unable to afford regular dental care, at our sister clinic in Cairo. The delegates are mentored and fully supervised on a one to one basis to ensure that all surgery is carried out to the best possible standard.
The patients are treated and restored totally free of charge using the highest standards of care. They are restored to optimum function, confidence and dignity. We are proud of the work our delegates carry out for them and feel privileged to help in this way. The patients in return have life changing procedures and are very appreciative of our service to them.
This initiative is particularly close to the heart of Course Director Dr Sam Mohamed who has a desire to give back to the people of the country of his birth.
Practical Implantology is a firm supporter of Dentinal Tubules and the charitable work this fantastic organisation does. We respect and hold high regard to the work that the founder of this charitable Dhru Shah continues to do to help the global dental community and the project he is currently carrying out in Kenya.
We continue to support many UK charities in their wonderful work and take pride in giving back to the less fortunate in any way we can.
Practical Implantology recognises and acknowledges the necessary and excellent work carried out by many charities and voluntary organisations in the UK. We are happy to support organisations that work in the fields of health, medical research and the disadvantaged.
